Thayir Pachadi (Ritha) Onion Salad
Yogurt (Thayir) is used in India for rice and for other recipes. Thayir Pachadi (Ritha) is used for Biriyani and Chapatti.
1. Yogurt - 1cup
2. Chopped onion—1 cup
3. Green or red chili—1tsp (If you like)
4. Chopped Tomato—1/4 cup
5. Sat to taste
6. Curry leaves—3 Chopped)
7. Coriander leaves—1/4 cup (chopped)
8. Chopped Cucumber—1/4 cup
9. Shredded Carrot—1/4 cup
In a bowl add chopped onion, chopped chili (optional), chopped tomato, curry leaves, coriander leaves, cucumber, carrot and salt. Add yogurt and mix it. If you want add little water.
Serve with Biriyani and Chapatti.
